This orchestra consists of only four or twelve persons. As for my family, we like visiting the Opera House. The history of chamber orchestra begins far away from our days - ancient times announce about themselves. Since seventeenth century only rich people had allowed themselves to donate the chamber orchestra. Those were used to perform the concerts with solo instruments, such as orchestra suits, serenades, divertissements and the like. And besides, these orchestras were called to play opera and church music. Then some slack period took the situation. And only in twentieth century the chamber orchestras had got the recognition. Today it is absolutely the independent type of orchestra. This phenomenon could be explained by the fact that people began to take an interest to preclassic and early classic music, namely, I.S. Bach, A. Corelli, T. Albinoni, A. Vivaldi and other great world known composers. There is one more reason to turn to the chamber orchestra - the search of new means for manifestation of music ideas and economy musical means, revival of polyphonic music. The orchestra changed the set of instruments depending on the composers' design. Preferably there was only one solo that presented each instrument. Sometimes only stringed or wind ones were used. If compare the chamber and symphonic orchestras, they are outlined by both the number of instruments and members of the group. The chamber orchestra consists of fiddles, two or three alt, tympani and contrabass. Music performed by the chamber orchestra can be various. The most popular orchestras are as follows:
1. Under the conduction of V. Stross (since 1942);
2. Vienna chamber orchestra "Musica anticua" under the conduction of B. Klebel;
3. London Chamber Orchestra of Europe (since 1981);
4. English Chamber Orchestra;
5. Italian Rondo Veneziano.
Each orchestra has its own conductor, the leader of the group.
